Personal description:

Ruta Valusyte is a professional designer and design manager, who has developed her competence at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy in: Urban Design - city transformation scenarios; Hospitality Design; Concept design for installation; Product Service System Design. Since 2004 she started her activity in various international trades, contests and design events (i Saloni Worldwide, Nextmaruni project, Caiazza Memorial Challenge and others). Since 2006 she started her work experience in interior design and graphic design projects. In 2010 she was one of the founders of Lithuanian design project "Popierukas“, in 2011 - the founder of industrial design project “Dideja - design idea" in Lithuania. Since 2012 she was the head of design department at Vilnius Academy of Arts, Kaunas faculty. Recently, Ruta became the director of KTU Design center and has established a design consultancy, community incubator & networking agency “Design Friends”.
